We are growing and looking for new teachers who specialize in Violin.

New position available: front desk receptionist

Job Description

  • Responsible for teaching instrumental techniques, scales, sight reading, music theory, and more.
  • Help prepare students for auditions and live performances.
  • Because the majority of our students are between the ages of 7-17, you will also be responsible for keeping parents up to date on their child’s progress.

Working Hours

  • The majority of our private music lessons are in the afternoons and evenings in order to fit around the student’s work and school schedules.

Main Lobby

All lessons are fulfilled in our recently renovated, 11,000 square foot studio located in the Brentwood/Cool Springs area. ROOTS has a total of 12 music studios, including a band rehearsal space and two studios with baby grand pianos. The studio is also home to our growing dance division.


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance or Education and proficiency in applied for instrument
  • Experience teaching ages 5-17 in private lessons
  • Experience teaching pop, rock & other contemporary music
  • Minimum of part-time availability after school and on Saturdays
  • A belief in the musical potential of every individual
  • A commitment to developing relationships with students and families
  • Experience using computers and technology in lessons
  • Strong communication, data tracking and analysis skills

All music teachers must undergo a criminal background check before they can work at ROOTS Academy.

  • You are unwilling to learn and adopt new technologies and administrative systems.
